Grana Padano

And here is... cheese. Well, fake cheese. I don't really know wether these two photographs have some sense, but I really liked the light that the sun cast over these little pieces of cheese. Grana Padano, to be precise. Actually, I was quite in doubt about posting them too, but I couldn't help it in the end.

E qui abbiamo... formaggio. Beh, finto formaggio. Non so quanto senso possano avere queste due foto, ma mi piaceva tantissimo il gioco di colori creato dal sole in quel momento su quei piccoli pezzetti di formaggio, e le ho scattate. Grana Padano, siamo precisi. In realtà neanche sapevo se pubblicarle o meno, ma alla fine ho ceduto.

Camera and Guitar

Well, when I don't know what to do (and i'ts possible) I try taking some pictures, while this guy down here starts playing the moment he sees a guitar. Since there is one in my house, this is what came out of it. Eventhough it was quite hard convincing him, in the end I managed to immortalize him; he will never look at the camera, so this is the best that I could do. Let's hope someone likes them!

Allora, quando non so che fare (ed è possibile) cerco di fare foto, mentre questo baldo giovane qua appena vede una chitarra si mette a suonare. Dato che ce n'è una a casa mia, ecco il risultato. Nonostante sia stato faticoso convincerlo, alla fine sono riuscita a immortalarlo; non guarderà mai la macchina fotografica, quindi questo è il meglio che sarebbe potuto uscire (a me perlomeno). Speriamo piacciano a qualcuno!

Let's say I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar, but in the end I handle it about once or twice a month...

Diciamo che anch'io sto cercando di imparare a suonare la chitarra, ma fra una cosa e l'altra la prendo in mano si e no una o due volte al mese... 

Roman Carnival

Also these photographs have been taken the day of the roman carnival, in piazza del Popolo, as you can see in the children's costumes. To slip through the circle of parents and children was quite difficult, as it was to use the camera, since every time I pointed it somewhere I saw little princesses and musketeers watching me, but in the end something decent managed to come out.

Anche queste foto sono state scattate il giorno del carnevale romano a piazza del Popolo, come si può notare dai costumi dei bambini. Infilarsi nel cerchio di genitori e bambini che guardava l'artista di strada è stato un pò un'impresa, come per altro usare la macchina fotografica, visto che ogni volta che la puntavo da qualche parte vedevo piccoli moschettieri e principesse che si giravano a guardarmi, ma alla fine qualcosa di decente è venuto fuori, dai. 

After the bycicle guy entertaining children, I found in via del Corso this artist painting in the middle of the street. These photos are nothing special, but I wanted to post them.

Dopo il tipo della bicicletta che faceva divertire i bambini, ho trovato questo artista che dipingeva in mezzo a via del Corso. Queste foto non sono niente di speciale, ma mi andava di pubblicarle.

Street Music

I was wandering around piazza del Popolo during the roman carnival (January?) and I found this guy playing Metallica in the middle of the square, with his red electric guitar and amplifier and all the rest. Well, he was really good. Hope somebody likes these photographs, eventhough the computer changed the quality somehow, and they're not so... well, the quality's not perfect, and that's a pity. First post here, I'm proud of myself!

Stavo girovagando per piazza del Popolo durante il carnevale romano (Gennaio?), e ho incontrato questo tipo in mezzo alla piazza, con la sua chitarra elettrica rossa e l'amplificatore e tutto il resto. Bè, era veramente bravo. Spero che a qualcuno piacciano queste foto, anche se il computer mi ha in qualche modo abbassato la qualità e non si vedono tanto bene. Stupido pc. Primo post qui sopra, sono orgogliosa di me stessa!
